Sacraments

sacramental
All of life is sacramental

If you come from a "Church" background you'll probably think that Quakers do not believe in the sacraments. Nothing could be further from the truth!

A sacrament is a Christian rite, like baptism or the eucharist, that mediates or symbolises divine grace. Sacraments are performed by the Clergy upon a recipient or recipients.

Quakers do not practice sacramental rites because from our earliest beginnings we have known that anyone can experience God's grace inwardly and directly without the medium of a priest.

In this light all of life becomes sacramental!
